Q: Is it healthy to eat when you're sick? A: Yes, your body needs energy to help fight the germs that are making you sick! If you're throwing up everything you eat, try drinking watered down juice (ginger ale works too), then maybe some toast. Slowly work your way up to heavier things.
Q: If someone has cancer, will I get cancer if I hug or kiss them? A: No you won't! There are no germs for cancer, so you can't catch it from someone else! You can still hug, kiss or do anything with someone who has cancer.
Q: How do you get diabetes? A: There are two types of Diabetes, and you get them in different ways.
Type 1 is genetic. This means that you are born with it. Usually a doctor will tell your parents or guardian very early in your life if you have this kind.
Type 2 diabetes is not genetic, and it can be prevented! Someone could get Type 2 diabetes from eating too many foods with high sugar and high fat (like pop, chips, chocolate and candy) and not doing enough exercise. If you exercise and eat healthy foods, you can won't have to worry about Type 2 diabetes!
